Okay, I'm going to try something interactive here...
Imagine tomorrow morning you are leaving civilization to live on a secluded island for the rest of your days. You can bring many belongings with you but the only form of electronic entertainment allowed is a CD player (there will be electricity on this island paradise). Now, the trick is that the only music you'll be able to listen to while you are there will be the complete works of one artist/group of your choice. You will never get new music from the artist/group, but you will be supplied with everything they've ever recorded up to this point. You won't get any radio reception on the island- this will be the only music you hear for the rest of your life. Who would you choose?
My choice is Pearl Jam. Feel free to share yours...

That's a tough choice....My choice would either be Coldplay or U2. I would probably choose U2 because they have more of a selection. Now, I know U2 is not your cup of tea Mr. Ham, but I like their music even IF Bono out to "Save the World." ;-)
This has to be Nik. It's quite alright, we'll be on seperate islands.
Now, if someone from that band did a solo project or had another band on the side, could I listen to that too? Because it would be the complete works of that group...
This is crucial.
Plus: Would we get bootlegs and such of concerts? Just need to know...:)

Oh for crying out loud...If you choose an artist, yes you can have everything they've done including any side projects. And sure, since this entire thing is completely made up, you can have all the bootleg concerts you want.
Well because of the sheer wealth of live and bootleg albums I would have to say the Dave Matthews Band. They've done so many live shows over the years with so many different artists the different styles of music and solos would be endless. Damn straight.
How about Phish? All four of those guys have at least one or two other bands . . . altogether that's like 100 CDs (not counting bootlegs off of gdlive.com).
