So, I want to get some sort of transmitter for my iPod to use in the car but I'm having a pickle of a time finding something of good quality. Ideally I'd like a hookup that kept the player charged while in use but my biggest concern is sound quality. Before I continue this vicious cycle of trial and return I figured I would turn to you iPod-owning folks to find out what is working for you in your automobiles. Please comment any suggestions; I'll greatly appreciate the help.

Dear Torrey,
Back when I had a car, I too ran into this dilemma. However, I bought a new CD player with the iPod adaptor because I figured it'd be worth it in the long run, rather than have to get the dinky iPod hookup and change the radio station to get reception. And I must say, it was one of my better decisions in my life.
Well thank you for the feedback, m'lady. That option did cross my mind, however, I can't say I'm in the market at this time for a new cd player in the Focus. A built-in iPod adapter does sound ideal though!
